  • candidate is assessed based on his responses to the interviewing officer
  • interviewing officer tries to estimate the candidates through careful probing into the past history of the candidate.
  • interview questions relate to candidates education,family,gk, army/air force/navy and spare time activities.

will take about 45 minutes during which you will speak about 80% of the time.

  • General Questions
    • Most memorable day /event/match/movie.
    • What is your aim in life? Why do you want to join Army?
  • Education Related Questions
    • What is your favorite subject?
    • How did you prepare for exams?
    • Which teacher you like most and why?
    • Tell me about your achievements during your study?
    • How much did you score in your tenth, twelfth and Competitive exams?
    • Games you played /extra curricular activities.
    • Tell me about your friends.
  • Family
    • Which family member you like the most and why?
    • How you help at home?
    • How much pocket money do you get and how do you use it?
    • What activities do you do at home in your holidays?
    • Whom do you confide in? What do you like most in them?
  • Hobbies and Interests
    • The interests question will vary depending on the individual’s interests some of which are sports, games, music, art, literature.
    • There will also be questions that will check your knowledge in your area of interest and also related to your academic background, there will also be questions which check your Leadership and organizational capability, Current affairs, general knowledge questions.
    • What are your strengths and weaknesses?
    • Tell me about Army/ Air Force-branches, aircraft etc.
